There was a storm last night. More coming tomorrow in the area. But there should have been like 100 mph winds to clean the dust on these walls.

There is about 75 ft of wall seen from my back windows belonging to about 10 garages with the doors on the other side.
A few days ago i cleaned the face of another 5 garages but those are in the main alley next to the building that were in a similar shape. Also as much as i could of this building. I survived the dust that was falling on my face after being sick for days. Using a surgical mask made a bit of a difference.
This morning i cleaned that wooden siding on the wall and under gutter area using a special spider web round brush for about half hour. I feel in my mouth and throat the smell and taste of dead bugs, (among them probably cantharidae), insulation dust (that doesn't smell much, is more like irritation and asphalt dust of which smell i'm so used to).
The landscape firm named Francesco y Jesus moved to idle their truck after the first cleaning in a different spot between 8 and 8:15 AM from the front of the garages where they were doing it before i cleaned them targeting this wall from between the building with their power exhaust. Today i didn't see their location as i was writing here, but i heard they idled that engine for about the same amount of time.

- Every time the fridge starts it stinks. And here's why. There is an evaporation pan under the fan for defrost cycle. Water vapor contaminated with food freezes on the cold radiator behind the plastic cover in the freezer. Every 8 hours or so the cold radiator using a resistor heats up and melts the ice and the water gets here in this plastic pan. From here it is evaporated by the fan in the picture that also blows air onto the hot radiator underneath (not seen in this picture).
Inside the fridge there's also a fan that blows on the cold radiator and pushes cold air in both compartiments, though much more in the freezer area. That air contains tiny amounts of food dust and will end up in the pan under and onto the hot radiator.
Many people don't know the newer refrigerators have a radiator because it's hidden under. That doesn't mean it's protected from dust. Dust comes from the air brought by the fan and onto the radiator where it burns together with food residues from the water from defrost cycle.
I think this design is at least crazy. Lower radiator should not blow into the evaporation pan.
But if it didn't as in older model who didn't hava such a fan and radiator in the back of the fridge in time mud would gather in the evaporation pan. Now that they have one they blow that stuff onto the hot radiator and in the end you get to breath the byproducts.REPLY Oct 14, 2016 -
