Just came from ICU at Providence. Dr.(he) Swanson told me operation went just fine, she is conscious and still intubated. She wrote on a piece of paper what she needed and all made perfect sense. Since it's been 3 hours and she is coming in and out of consciousness. She awakens, asks for something and go back to sleep.

- Just called them again. They keep saying she's fine, she's sleepy while intubated. They told me this is very unusual to keep a pacient intubated while awake.
REPLY Nov 18, 2016 - From time to time she has spasms and the nurse told me she is coughing that is she is getting awake. That was 2 hours ago.

- When i went in there the second time a nurse asked me to use some hand sanitizer at the door. Then i held hands with her. Then the nurse have her some meds with a syringe "for nausea". Then her blood pressure went down from 115/65 to 100/50 and lower and pulse from 60 to 58 and there she stayed all night.
REPLY Nov 18, 2016 - JUST TALKED TO HER ON THE PHONE! Her voice intonation and rhythm and alertness seem normal. She did not seem to be in pain or anything. She said earlier was just tired, could not keep awake. Blood pressure 115/55. The nurse earlier told me they want to keep it that way with medication after heart surgery.
REPLY Nov 19, 2016 - Among other things she wrote on that paper was if she bled during surgery and if here urine is normal. Nurse said she was not given any blood and her urine was normal.
REPLY Nov 19, 2016 - Just talked to her again because i wanted to give the nurse my phone number and he mistakenly put her through. She now seemed groggy because she was sleeping, her blood presure told by her from the monitor was 108/52. When i gave the nurse the phone number he repeated it and she recognized as her phone number because i got her phone and i'm using it. She is perfectly conscious but not as alert as the first time.
Also nurse said this time they are not giving her any blood pressure medication, her blood pressure is just low. I figure she lost blood during surgery and never got any transfusion to replace it.

- Just checked again. Her blood pressure is 100/50 which is consistent with loosing blood.
REPLY Nov 19, 2016 - Slept around 6 hours last night. At 9 went to the hospital. At 10:30 they moved it to the main hospital after they removed all monitors and put in an extra IV on the left hand, unused. She got three pumps, one for fluids, one for insuline (not a diabetic, just to control tight the blood sugar) and one for pain medicine. Every time she is in pain she squeezes a button. Took a few steps part of physical therapy. Came home got stuck in trafic and covered a few mole holes under the main door. I think a bit of smoke was present here too.
REPLY Nov 19, 2016 - I think she was doing great the first day after surgery and this morning. But they took her for walks in the hallway. This afternoon i talked with her on the phone and she sounded optimist. But tonight when i saw her she seemed exhausted. Falling asleep minutes at the time and when she finally fell asleep and breathing deep i heard a big noise in a room next to her like somebody dropping a big thing on the floor and obviously she got awakened. That's when i decided to live cause i though maybe my presence there could make things worse. She also showed me that device for exercising to breath with the ball in the cylinder and now it was barely moving. Ever since she came out of the surgery she could do less and less.
They also unhooked everything out of her like those balloons for collecting fluid though the fluid didn't look clear to me yet. And the catheter for urine and she got incontinence from previous treatments for cancer and she didn't want that removed. The only thing left on was her... insuline pump? Don't understand why i was there when the assistant or nurse poked her and her blood sugar was 90, she never has it more than that.
I also reviewed her angiograms from before surgery today and i'm not sure that artery was obstructed 80%. Her Windows computer got invaded by some weird program from Something (Samsung) printing manager and cannot take screenshots until i removed which right now i just can't i'm exhausted myself. So i just took some pictures of the screen.
REPLY Nov 20, 2016 - Just remembered. When i got there at 9 she told me they gave her a melatonin earlier. Myself i took one a few hours ago and finally got some sleep. Maybe that's why she was looking like that. She also complained about a visiting kid making big noise in the afternoon.
